Problem with NTSC GH1 used in Australia!

I can't edit my newly acquired GH1 video files with Photofun Studio ( software supplied by panasonic). I've bought the GH1 from US and am using it in Australia. The software says i'm in the wrong country for it! I understand that its a NTSC camera but didn't think that the PAL/NTSC issue would affect me since its high definition. Am i stuck?

I'll like to still use photofun studio to edit and join my numerous .mts files. Can i still do it with a NTSC camera while i'm living in Australia? How could i get around this?
