Ronnie Gaubert Appreciation Thread

I don't know Ronnie personally but I've admired his images over the years on dpreview from the time I was a forum peeper up until now.

Unfortunately I could not log in last night to express my appreciation and the original thread is at its maximum. And I'm sure there are others who would also wish to express similar sentiments.

So I'm starting a new thread to say...Ronnie your work has inspired a lot of what I try to do with my photography and its been a great pleasure not just to view what you do with "outdated" equipment but to listen and learn how your image are made, from the site on through to the post.

Thanks for your contribution to this forum and to my photography in particular. All the best to you and your family, and I look forward to your comments here in the future
