Will the new Nikon 85 1.4 lens have VR? How much of a difference will it make?

I've been holding off on buying this lens for the past few months wondering if the replacement lens was coming and if VR would be included. It looks as if the new lens will be announced in the next couple weeks. Does VR matter for a lens this fast? If so, in what conditions? I shoot mainly weddings and portraits. Thanks for the advice.
