Still a good choice to get a used (almost unused) 5D MI?

I just have a quick question to you guys who use FF cameras... I wonder if still ok to but a used 5DMI for $1250dlls...

I just sold my Epson RD1s in $1650 plus some Leica glass, so I have some funds to invest in new gear. I cannot invest in the MII or ultra high speed lenses like the 50mm L 1.2, and I am not really into mega high pixel count either, I am more inclined to get beautiful pictures even if they only are made with 12 MP. I am interested in testing FF waters specially because I love the mood and atmospheres a narrow DOF can create.

So this would be my chance, or... stick with APS an get a new 18mp Canon T2i for $800 bucks. I if go with the later option, I would buy the Sigmas´ 30mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.4. If I get the 5D, I will get the Sigma 50mm 1.4 and the Canon 85mm 1.8.
