Will the new cameras affect pricing of the 5d mark II

I have a chance to buy a used 5D Mark II (possible switch from 7D), but was wondering, since there are rumors about a 60D coming out (this time it's really supposed to be released! :P), could it possibly be a reason this person is selling his 5d II now, instead of after the release? One would think models like the 60D wouldn't really affect a camera in a different league, like the 5d II, but if the 60D affects, say, the price of the 7D, wouldn't this in turn have to lower the prices of the 5d II as well?

Any opinions, experience on this?
