Decision-Canon f50 1.4 or Zeiss Planar T f50 1.4????

Hi All,

I have a 5dMKII and a wide selection of lenses, but, I lack a 50mm, so I am trying to decide between the Canon 1.4 and Zeiss Planar T f1.4. The reviews are good on B&H, and I am looking for an excellent prime lens for panos, (I am currently using a 17-40) so auto focus or lack is not a problem. I have a 24mm TSE and love it's manual focus. Does anyone have any experience with both the Canon and Zeiss and can offer me some guidance. Many thanks to the group. Best, Bob
