Smoke n Thunder Jet Car

One of the things to see at Skyfest 2010 was the Smoke n Thunder jet car. This is something that I have never seen before. All I can say it WOW. 0-400 mph in 8 sec. Can someone tell me what keeps this car on the ground? Here is a link to more info about this car.
