Graduated ND filters

Can anyone post landscape comparisons with/without graduated ND filters.......I tried a B+W (25%) which I believe is the 2-stop ND.6 and saw a slight difference but not as noticeable as I would have expected, and was wondering if I need a 3 or even 4 stop for more dramatic skies.
