If you want the pop of a dye printer using the Epson 3800 you need to do a little homework. With glossy paper it can easily produce a dMax of 2.4 which far surpasses anything I could get from my darkroom days and equals the old Epson dye printers.

Try this: Media type - glossy, Mode - Custom - Enhance, Advanced - Landscape. Then Printer Managers Color should be selected and Relative Colormetric.
