Sigma 8-26 or Tokina 11-16?

Sorry, meant to post to D300 section. Seems there's no way to delete.
Yes, I know its a bit apples to oranges; however, I'd like some advice.
From looking at photozone.de, here's my quick summary of pros/cons of each...
The Sigma has a wider range, very good sharpness, and lower chromatic aberations, but is larger, slow, and has a bulb front element.
The Tokina is faster, still considered sharp, has a limited range, and significant chromatic aboerations.
In either case, my new lens will augment the Nikkor 16-85. I do a lot of travel and backpacking and want a new lens for both architecture and landscapes.
Comments/Thoughts?
Thanks!
