Shooting Fireworks with an S5 - Quick questions
Jul 1, 2010

I plan to shoot fireworks for the first time tonight. I wonder whether anyone using an S5 can reply within 5 hours, before I have to leave and getting ready.
My questions are:

1. How to set "bulb" on the speed under S mode? Just crank up the dial until it passes 30 seconds? I just checked and it did not work on S mode. Looks like that I have to use M mode and dial the speed until "bulb". I heard that for ISO 100, I can use f8 or f11. Any comments or suggestions?
2. Film simulation - What is the best for fireworks?

Standard, F1,F1a, F1b, or F2 ? What about other set up such as "color", "tone" and "sharpness"? I assume it is F2? Please comment?
3. White balance to use? auto, incandescent , fine or shade?
4. Color ? High, medium high, std or less? I assume the higher the better?
5. tone?

Thanks for info.
