Will 7D prices drop?

I've decided to get the 7D. However, reading the rumors, a new xxD body is imminent. If this comes out in a month or so, will the 7D price drop much? Or does the price routinely drop after the camera has been out for 6-8 months? I'm in no hurry but would like to move up from my 30D soon. Any hints/history on when/if the price will change? (I know about Bing, Ebay, pmidigital and their associated cashback programs.)
