Insane Asylum (GF1 + 9-18mm + 20mm)
Jun 28, 2010

This morning me and a fellow explorer went to scope out a local abandoned asylum in Maryland. The amount of asbestos here was ridiculous, but there were a lot of interesting things left behind like training manuals, files, and lots of furniture.

I got to test my new third party wired remote ($10 on ebay) for bracketing. I'm having a lot of fun learning the ins and outs of HDR photography in Photomatix!

I have a Slik Sprint Pro II tripod on order from B&H right now, because my budget wal-mart tripod is really becoming a hindrance. The Sprint Pro II comes with a ball head, weighs just a little over 2lbs, collapses to 18" and extends to 63". Can't wait to put that to use next weekend.

DPR seems to have stripped my EXIF again, but all were shot RAW with either the 20mm or the M. 9-18mm, developed in Lightroom 3 and edited in Photoshop CS4. Some bracketed 7 shots and processed in Photomatix.
