Yes they do make pouches that fasten to the strap, but they are neither as large or versatile as the Tamrac MAS system.

I have 3 Tamrac pouches that I can use, either singly or in combination on either side of the bag: the "medium" pouch can handle a GF1 w/20mm, a "medium flash pouch" which holds the Oly fl36 nicely, and a "medium" lens pouch which I used to use for my Canon 70-300, which will hold the 45-200 or maybe even the 100-300 when it comes out.

The point is, that with these pouches, I can expand or contract my kit as I see fit.

BTY - I also cut off the Domke strap and replaced with an Optech 2" wide neoprene bag strap - Sooo comfortable!
