Like already stated, 8 mb/s is enough for video so you should focus
on the most gigabytes per buck.

I saw a test for older DIGIC -4 Cameras (5D II etc) where emptying

the raw file buffer topped out at a speed of around 30 MB/s or about 233x I think.

However, latest generations of flash usually have higher density and
I found it cheaper to jump directly to UDMA which provided 60MB/s
instead of looking for the previous generation 300x and 400x cards.
