Wouldn't the 14,2 mpix A380 make the perfect teleshooter with my 70-400G ?

At low ISO the CCD sensors really shine. If you got the A380 and shot it at ISO 100 and 200 it would make a great companion to the 70-400. I think it would compete very favorably to shooting with the A900 and then cropping it down to equal the APS-C framing size. If you crop the A900 to APS-C size the A380 would actually have a slight resolution advantage, though I doubt it would be very noticeable. Better yet, wait for the A390. Perhaps Sony may have tweaked the image processing pipeline a bit so that it may produce a bit better IQ than the A380, especially at higher ISO. Also, since the A390 has a much better grip then the A380 it would handle much better than the A380 with a large lens like the 70-400.
