Will Panny Respond to Hack?

Tester13's new GH1 we are talking about here. I don't think there has ever been an instance where a hack this powerful was released just prior to a new camera coming out. I can't envision any scenario where the GH2 as intended to be released would be able to hold a candle to the hacked GH1 in the categories that matter to people buying this product. Will Panasonic respond to this by reworking their own GH2 firmware so it is better than what they initially planned? Do they even have the time to do that at this point? Normally there is an incentive for people contemplating buying a new camera to wait until the next model comes out if a new one is forthcoming soon. But Tester13 has demolished that usual dynamic. Now people are going to be wondering how long it will take for Tester or somebody else to fix the GH2 to the point where it can be competitive with the GH1. A real conundrum for Panasonic.
