Several times my tripod washed lightly by the wave and sucked into sands. As a result, now there are sands stuck, especially in the leg section locks, so it's quite rough and hard to lock the leg sections.

When encountering a situtation as described, I'm wondering if it would make sense to put gallon size zip-lock bags around each leg bottom, with duct take to hold them in place?
