G11 - Canon Firmware request.

Here it is in case anyone from Canon reads this...

G11 user for six months now. Nice Camera but no firmware in sight, not a Canon policy I guess.

What I miss: 1:1 and Step zoom. Two very easy things that would make this a much nicer camera.

Also the viewfinder, even if most useful, is not good for composition. A viewfinder "crop mode" would also make me very happy, but I Imagine this would be trickier... Also in camera barrel distortion correction... er... Wishes, Wishes...
