Slight movement between lens and body, normal?

Hey guys,
Just wanted to get a couple opinions here. I recently (about 3 weeks ago) purchased a 70-200 f/2.8L (non-IS) to go with my 50D. When I connect the lens to the body, and lock it into place, there is a very slight amount of movement between the lens and body, almost unnoticeable at first (hence not really finding out about it until I had the lens for 3 weeks). Is some amount of "give" normal? It doesn't impact anything with the pictures, at least not that I can tell, but obviously after spending a significant amount of money on a lens, I don't want to be stuck in a position where I'm using a "compromised" product.
Have any of you experienced something like this? I also own the 24-70 f/2.8L, 50 f/1.8, and a soon-to-be-sold 28-135 f/3.5-5.6, and I haven't noticed it on any of these lenses (hence my thread here).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Matt
