Buying a new camera

wondering can anyone advise me which slr camera to buy, i love to take very fast sports shots, portraitsetc but happy with preset modes dont know any thing about manual settings, have Olypmus 500E & Fuji FinePix S100FS unfortunitly let both fall month between each other i need to update. have a nikon D60(dont like nikon) on loan at the min, maybe a canon, please let
