About lens distortion and correction

Does viewfinder and LCD display of MFT cameras automatically corrects the lens distortion look when shooting RAW format? It does correct when shooting JPEG, I wonder if it's the case with RAW... Interesting, when in camera engine or later editing software corrects lens distortion, the field of view of the image slightly changes as well... so, is it still 20mm lens view equivalent to 40mm FF ? or maybe becomes 43mm or something? or maybe the lens is a bit wider to start with, leaving the room for narrowing the view a bit after correction ?...
