How do the frames go together on the Chimera and Scrim Jims? Are the square tube, etc.?

Anyone look at Matthews?

The Scrim Jim are square tubes and fit together at the corners and if you are using the extension tubes they also connect in the middle of the frame(one section is 42" and the other is 30" long)When broken down they fit in a pretty small bundle. The tubes are completely separate so you can mix and match the sections to create different size frames.

I do not own the Chimera frames, but they are basically aluminum versions of the Dean Collins Lightform panels(a little shorter though) with bungie cords connecting the panels. IIRC they are round frames.
