Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC HSM ... anybody own it?

I'd appreciate any inputs (positive or negative) about the subject lens, thanks!

For anybody interested here is a link to the Sigma site regarding information about the 8-16. FWIW the MTF curves look pretty darn impressive to me. The only downside (on paper) that I can see is external filters are a no-go.
