Kodak EasyShare 1085 IS

Hi guys, I'm new to this Forum. I recently sold my Sony DSLR a380, and to fill in the gap until I decide which Sony DSLR camera to purchase next, I have purchased a second hand Kodak EasyShare 1085 IS for £30.
My first impressions are that this is a superb little beast. The quality of the photos are very good. The main reason for my decision to purchase the Kodak EasyShare 1085 IS instead of any other P&S camera was the size of the sensor, which is quite larger than your average 1/2.33 " sensors.
I'm not into video, but its very hard not to get carried away using the HD 720p video.
In just a few weeks I have made over 3GB worth of Video.
I have not quite figured out yet how to compile a DVD which will play on my home DVD Player. So far I have managed to get the movie playing but unfortunately without any sound.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
Below are 2 photos of my son which I took a few days ago.
