Panasonic Extended Warranty Warning

FYI... To cover my new GH1, I purchased a 3-year extended warranty from Panasonic ("Customer Care Plan"). When the paperwork arrived, I found in the fine print a confusing provision excluding coverage if the camera was used "commercially or in a commercial setting" which is defined as "anything other than a single family dwelling." Since I'm semi-pro, I called for clarification, and after getting passed around, was informed that the contract does not cover a camera that is ever used to make photos for sale -- even occasionally, even as an amateur! This was certainly not disclosed when I originally ordered the warranty. Cancelled and awaiting refund.

Has anyone had a similar experience with any other extended warranties?
