Heres how to hypersynch monoblocks strobes with pocket wizards
May 21, 2010

After weeks of searching I found this thread which shows how to hypersynch standard monoblocks with pocket wizard mini & flexs

http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=710949

Please add your experience to this thread, it takes the right combination of settings but it is possible, in this example up to 1/8000th sec with a bowens 750

This is very useful to me and many who have been limited to using 1/160th synch with their pocketwizards and the 5Dmk2.

You can also use some monoblocks on location by plugging them into a 'Tronix
explorer xt' pure sine wave power inverter.

Also here's a thread on flickr

user 'Grafic house' has some good tips on this thread.
