Spent a few hours Saturday wandering one of my favorite haunts, southern Wyoming. There's not much between cattle guards and dirt county road overpasses along I-25 so when you see something that kinda' looks like a town and you gotta go, well...
It's amazing to me what you can see when you really stop & look. The color emerging from fresh rain combined with a surreal bokeh from the 105VR create a Monet-esque representation of an otherwise barren and lonely place.
Great exercise in the D3S' weather sealing - most of the time the camera & lens were soaking wet. Once again, quite pleased with the performance of the D3S. Absolutely loving this camera.
