PL1 vs P1 vs P2 image quality

In the recent review of the E-PL1, the PL1 had a higher image quality score in raw output than the P2 and the P1.
How come? If they have identical sensors, and I assume almost identical software, why is the raw IQ of the PL1 so much higher? Is it just the particular unit that dpreview used, or is this general?
Since I just got a P1 (for a bit cheaper than a PL1), but am still in the period were I could return it, I'd really like to know. improved IQ might be the last straw. Even though I really like my P1.
So, even in the latest firmware for all involved (I seem to have 1.4), IQ of PL1 is better?
