HS10: new user and a question regarding Silkypix

Hello,

i couldn't resist to buy the HS10. The feature set (compared to the competitors) finally has convinced me.

I already have one question. The RAW converter whichis bundled with the SW only can save in 8 bit?

Personally i prefer to work with my old Photoshop CS (not 2,3 or 4).

Perhaps there are alternatives?
