How do you handle price phone surfing phone calls?

And if all else fails...just tell 'em. They'll either go for it or they won't. I can't imagine a great deal of time is being spent with a caller before the money issues come up... I have 1 receptionist; she handles 99% of all the calls. If she was spending a lot of time fielding shoppers then I would either have to hire someone else or find a better way... The "better way" for us is to just be honest with them and tell it like it is.

Now, commercial shoots can get complicated, so those sometimes DO require a bit of phone time...but personal photography..."Here's what we do and this is what it costs..."
