Getting D700 should i add another lens.

Hi, I intend getting a D700 as a second body to go with my D300 as i am fed up with having to change lenses all the time, especially at the sporting and people events i go to. My current lenses are.
Sigma 120-300 2.8
Nikon 70-200vr
Nikon 35-70 2.8D (which needs sending for repair will not auto focus)
Nikon 12-24 DX
Nikon 18-70 DX
Sigma 150 2.8 Macro

My questions being do i need more glass, is the 70-200vr usable with the D700 as the review on here says it's a poor performer. I dont know how the sigma 120-300 will perform hopefully it will be ok, the sigma 150 will be ok. That leaves me with the 35-70 when it is repaired. What are your thought's have i got enough glass for the D700. My feeling is that i could do with a wide angle but i sort of have that covered with the 12-24 on the D300.
