I need help with the Panasonic GH1

I have a Panasonic GH1 and before I had and used several cameras Olympus, now I have the E-P2 also,

I have two questions about the GH1:

First,

The electronic viewfinder and LCD screen have a long format(16:9 i think) and although in the menu you can put different aspect ratios 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 1:1 it does not change the aspect what you see in the viewfinders, it don´t show the frame as it is in the final photo, I am interested in the 4:3 aspect and I see no way to view it in live.

The other question is whether there is a way to have live histogram in Manual exposure mode, which is the one I use, because changing values of aperture / speed
don´t show changes in the graphic.
