GF1 shutter speed vs ISO

Hi all,

Love my GF1, but I find myself wanting to leave some settings to the camera every now and then. I shoot in Aperture priority, and would like auto ISO (with a limit). So the camera can decide the ISO/shutterspeed combo. This is esp. useful for my wife, she is not that much of a photographer.

But here is my problem: the camera chooses to keep ISO low and let the shutter speed increase, up till 1/30th for example, which is far too long to freeze motion. 1/30th with ISO 100 is not what I seek, I'd rather see higher ISO and faster shutterspeeds.

Any workaround without too much hassle? Different setting, some hidden menu setting, anything without having to manually control ISO?
