Why buy the 50D over the 550D ??/

I am finally taking the plunge in upgrading from my trusty old 10D and have been looking around on different sites.
this site gives a side by side comparison and for the life of me I can't see why the 50D is better...although I am still leaning that way.
I have 3 great EF lenses and a dedicated flash, remote etc for the 10D and all will work on either camera as far as I know.
My 10D also has the extra battery pack which I am not sure fits either camera ???
Any advice will be gladly accepted.
