My Sigma 50/1.4 sux...

Hi guys.

Ive been testing like mad now and I cant tell how disappointed i am with this lens. Something is seriously wrong here!!

This is the worst case of focus shift ive seen.

All pictures are cropped. This is in no way user error lol, i get similar results when using tripid, wireless trigger and very controlled static subjects.

First shot. Close up about one meter heavy cropped image.

Second shot. Back up to about 3-4 meters

What the hell.. Insain backfocus?! And it gets even worse when shooting anything further away....

If i get closer, like 0.5 meters then its good again.

What tha hell is there to do, anyone really think this can be fixed at service?
If i send it in, i loose my option to return the lens.

Its still possible to take decent pics with it.. but daaaamn. It sucks that its not more reliable on distant subjects.
