Canon 7D and Tamron 18-270 issues

Hi all,
After extensive shoots with the Tamron on my 7D, I am starting to feel something is very off... My pictures are good but at 100% show grain and softness even at 100 ISO (with highlight priority off).
I mostly use the 270mm end to do some bird shots and I always end up with grainy and overall soft pictures.
Anyone had issues with this camera lens combination?

Lenses : Canon EF-s 18-55mm , Tamron 18-270mm f3.5-6.3, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8, Canon EF 50mm f1.4
Flash : Canon Speedlite 430 EXII
