Dark images from my 3880 help please

I just got my Epson 3880 printer and set it up this morning. I turned color management off in the driver and let photoshop manage the color. My monitor is calibrated using a Huey Pro. I have a One-Eye but the driver won’t work with my Vista platform. I ran a test print and it came out dark, very dark. I recalibrated my monitor set gamma to 2.2 and D65. Still dark. Lightened up my image using curves and the image improves but no matter how much I lighten it is still prints out darker than what is on my screen. Help please. Love the detail, thought I had done a good job of post processing the girls face but was surprised to still see some slight imperfections on the forehead.
