A real disappointment if it's true that the camera does not have sensor-based stabilization. Lens based IS constrains design which can hurt IQ, and is likely to lead to bulkier lenses esp. on a tiny compact system.

OTOH IQ of Sony's latest APS sensors seems to beat 4/3 and Micro 4/3 pretty handily, and the sensor-stabilized Olympus cameras don't seem to be able to autofocus quickly enough for anything moving. Additionally, I would likely only purchase a couple of lenses for my compact system, and they would be purpose-built for the mount, not older Minolta or third party glass.

I'm keeping my mind open to the NEX, but very disappointed about the missing sensor-based antishake rumor.
