For those Who Have "Mastered" the 7D
Apr 22, 2010

I have read so many postings/comments about the 7D having a steep learning curve; that it requires a lot of practice to get really good shots; that it is a comparatively complicated camera with so many possible setting combinations and permutations; that it needs a lot of manual/field guide reading and more practice, practice, practice. Ultimately, so many have said that it is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling camera to use when one has attained a certain level of mastery over it.

I know that there are so many kinds of possible shots that can be taken under a myriad of highly varied conditions, but it would really be very nice if posts can be made indicating some of the major/main learnings on the 7D and the camera settings that have helped in achieving satisfaction with the photos taken.

I have a 7D/17-55 combination and I am working at getting to know and use the camera to the utmost.

Thank you for your kind comments and contributions!
