Self-challenge request: Going to Las Vegas

I am going to Las Vegas for work in a few weeks. I plan to take my camera with me, but only with the "normal" 35mm f/1.8 (on a crop DSLR) since I want to travel light. Also, lately I've been shooting exclusively with that lens and am really enjoying it.

I plan on taking pictures based on my own whim, but I'd welcome a few "assignments" or challenges from folks here. Of course, I'll post my attempts after I return.

Obviously, I won't be able to attempt all of them (if only because it's a work trip), but I'm curious to know what kinds of ideas you have, and would appreciate the help in developing my skills. I welcome both "thematic" suggestions (like the challenges on DPR) as well as more "instructional" kinds of assignments (particular lighting, people pictures, etc.).

In the spirit of my destination, "anything goes" (as long as it's legal ;)). Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
