Lightroom 3 is amazing at helping high iso shots

This was shot with an a300 and a Minolta 85/1.4G at iso 1600, wide open (f1.4), indoors with no flash, and was cropped from a horizontal frame to a vertical portrait. Perfectly acceptable imo, even viewed at large size. Normally this would have to be black and white to hide all the chroma noise, and even then it would be noisy looking.
