IPad..a bit of the Internet in your hand

Recently I made some comments about my iPad, mentioned some shortcomings gently but praised the device highly. I cannot take away how amazing the hardware is! Now that I have had a bit more time with the machine that gives you the Internet in your hand, I find I only have a bit of the Internet in my hand. NO FLASH PLAYER is frustrating! So given that a huge proportion of websites use flash how can apple progress this device to view websites correctly. This shortcoming is bigger than I imagined......come on Apple I can view these sites on my iMac!
