Hm - don't think you understand the scientific process. You test a hypothesis - i.e., you have an expectation and you devise experiments to prove (or disprove) your hypothesis. This is the basis of the scientific method - you always have an expectation.

Which is why double blind tests were invented (to remove the bias of the scientist). It isn't really possible to double blind test your own lenses. You'd have to separate the shooter and the EXIF from the image evaluator, for starters. Unfortunately not very practical for lens testing.
