Nikon 16-85 Lens feedback

Hi Folks,I am new here and still finding my way around the site.

I would just like to ask for some feedback from users of the nikon 16-85 lens, I am new to photography and at the moment using a 50mm just to learn with,I now want to buy something which will give me a bit more scope for landscape and general scenery and everyday shots.

I have read some good things about this lens,and wondered if any of you users could give me some of your opinions,I have a budget of around £400,and dont really want to go anymore than this.
