Are Tripods Really Necessary?

No, I did not mean a tripod makes no sense. I mean if a person is unsure of a tripod, why would you aim for the most expensive as a possibility?

That would be like saying "I was thinking if I might be able to make use of getting a car. Should I get the Mercades or no?"

Get me? If your unsure of something, you never contemplate getting the most expensive of something your unsure of needing or wanting. That is the part that did not make sense to me.
Tripods always have their use. But a $200 - $300 dollar one? For a beginner?
