I just got the grip from Lensmate the other day and it really does make a big difference in being able to hold the S90 securely, and I can even hold it with one hand now, without worrying. It's not cheap, but worth it.

As far as Canon's wrist strap having no cincher, I took another poster's advice and got a tiny piece of clear plastic, 1/4 inch (inside measurement) tubing from Home Depot's plumbing dept. and it works pretty good. They only sell it in a $3.11 roll now, but the employee in that dept. just cut me off a 1/4" length of it for free with his clippers after he heard what I wanted it for and how little I needed. Nice guy.
