I get by with English.

I'm an American expat photographer. I have lived in Germany, Lebanon, the UAE and now in South Africa. I often shoot in different countries, for international clients. I speak English with them all. I actually make it part of my marketing, that I'm not local.

Now, I do make an effort to learn the language. I speak German and English fluently, I can get by in Spanish and Arabic, and am about to start Zulu lessons. But I do all my business in English.
