A pano scan using the WX1 "Sweep" mode

Had a go at the sweep mode yesterday - 2 tricks I have worked out with this mode on the WX1

First if it is an outdoor panorama set the exposure value for about minus one stop or it will tend to overexpose the sky - this was taken ay minus one stop
and

secondly learn to pace your sweep - too slow and it will result in an incomplete panorama too fast i have not tried yet - being old most of my movements are not that fast :-))

I find myself carrying the little WX all the time lately -the A700 was in the car with its collection of lenses but never got used - if I was a commercial (professional) photographer needing top quality I would use the A700 but for fun the WX1 is hard to beat
