Shooting Video in DSLR? Shutter life?

I am just wondering when DSLR shoots video at 30 fps, does the shutter close and open 30 times in a second or it remains open for whole duration of the video.
Each shutter is usually rated for 50,000 or 1,00,000 actuation. Then if I shoot video with a DSLR, it will reach this rated value very soon, am I right?
If not, how does thing work for DSLR with Video capability?
